SOLKOSTER is located at Sydkoster, the biggest island in the Koster archipelago, where the surrounding sea is a marine national park. Furthermore, with her unique fauna, the main part of the island is also a nature reserve. Besides the small supermarket situated at Sydkoster, whence you can order alcoholic beverage, there are restaurants, a hotel, a fish shop and possibility to buy ecologic vegetables .

Tired of exhaust gases? Solkoster is a true oasis with only a faint scent of salt in the air. Very few cars are to be found at the island. Instead, there are excellent possibilities of renting a bicycle at Ekenäs Harbour. Experiencing the scenery on bicycle is a experience you will forget late. Solkoster is a member of Ekoturismföreningen (a society which promotes ecologic tourism) since we, for instance, separates at source all waste and takes care of the unique environment and water around the island. Each season offers you a spectacular nature trip. The houses are located in the nature careful height in a rocket with a fantastic view over the horizon of the National Park of Kosterhavet. Nearby there is a powder white beach and beautiful cliffs whence you, with a leap, can dive into the undisturbed sea.
